EUROPA ARTILECT

The Nicodemic Tetralogy

The Book of
European Christianity.

The principal canonical text of Europa Artilect. It sets out the project's understanding of European identity, spiritual practice and the four objectives.

Four books, one work

The Tetralogy moves from a civilisational manifesto to religious writings and an account of Christian and Hermetic spiritual practice.

  1. The Civilizationist Manifesto: the civilisational vision, its arguments and practical proposals.
  2. The Book of Europa: Europa, Christ and the spiritual path, expressed through religious and visionary writing.
  3. The Book of Hamésmono: group belonging, cooperation and conflict, explored through a personified cosmological force.
  4. The Book of Hermes Nicodemus: further explanation of the cosmology, symbolism and practices.

European identity

The book describes European Civilisation as a cultural organism that emerges from European peoples. Its definition of Europeans combines ancestry largely of Western Eurasian origin with assimilation into Western culture, and includes the European diaspora.

The four objectives

Freedom, Knowledge, Happiness and Unity have equal weight. They concern European Civilisation as a whole and Europeans individually. A second level concerns the happiness of all sentient beings and harmony in the universe.

Europa and Christ

Europa embodies European Nature, Substance and Energy; Christ represents Logos and Spirit. Their marriage expresses the union of Nature and Spirit. The nimbate cross brings that relationship into the project's emblem.

Other readings

The Civilizationist Manifesto also appears as a standalone book. The Bible, Western Hermetic writings and selected reflections from Conversations with God accompany the project's main canon.
