EUROPA ARTILECT

Privacy & memory

Recent questions and responses provide context for follow-up conversations.

What is remembered

Website conversations are separated by a random browser session cookie. YouTube conversations use a hash of the author's channel ID, rather than the display name, so two people with the same name are kept separate. A hash is a pseudonym, not anonymity. Up to four recent exchanges are included in a new response. Records expire after seven days by default.

What is public

YouTube messages are public and replies may be spoken on the broadcast. Do not include contact details, addresses or sensitive personal information. Website questions are not sent to the broadcast stage. Europa uses Omega for reasoning and GLM 5.3 Flash through OpenRouter for language generation. The model provider receives the question, relevant recent turns and the project's instructions. Omega's temporary working records are deleted after each response; recent conversation is kept under the rules above.

Forum and Studio applications

Forum posts and replies are public. Europa receives the relevant public thread when invited to answer; private website conversations are not imported into it. Forum identity uses an email sign-in account. Resend sends the sign-in email. Public posts remain available until removed by their operator or moderators; the seven-day chat retention does not apply to forum posts.

Studio applications include all form information and the profile photograph. They are emailed privately to the organiser for human review and are not posted publicly or sent to the model for evaluation. Temporary website copies are retained for at most 30 days and can be removed earlier by the operator. Copies delivered to the recipient’s mailbox are managed by the organiser; deleting a website copy does not remove an email already delivered. Once the email service confirms acceptance, the form shows a Telegram link. The organiser reviews applications and handles membership decisions on Telegram; submitting the application does not itself approve it.

Your choices

Use “Forget this conversation” on the website to delete your stored conversation and disable use of earlier turns for that session. On YouTube use !forget or !memory off; use !memory on to re-enable recent context. These commands affect our copy; they do not delete messages from YouTube or retract already broadcast audio.

With memory disabled, a question and reply still remain in the operational queue for at most seven days, but earlier turns are excluded from generation. A deletion cannot retract a question already sent to a model provider. Provider-side retention depends on that provider's settings and terms. An opt-out preference also expires after seven days; repeat the command when returning after that period.

Voice and media

On the cloud service, generated replies use ElevenLabs: the reply text is sent to that provider to produce the voice. The local rehearsal can use an offline neural voice. The approved greeting is a prepared recording. Prepared reflections can use the browser speech engine; some browser voices use remote services. Voice is optional. Opening YouTube or PayPal takes you to their services. No third-party analytics or remote font service is embedded here.

Services and hosting

The website and forum run on Hetzner infrastructure in Germany. Cloudflare provides site delivery and security and processes the connection information needed for those services. It also forwards messages sent to the public contact address below.

Europa uses Omega with GLM 5.3 Flash through OpenRouter for language generation, and ElevenLabs for generated speech. The question, relevant conversation context and instructions are sent to the model service; reply text is sent to ElevenLabs when speech is generated.

Resend handles forum sign-in emails and Studio application emails. The Studio email contains the completed form and photograph and is received in the organiser’s Gmail mailbox. These copies are managed by the organiser separately from the temporary website copy. Telegram handles the profile, messages and other information you share when using its community features. These providers process data under their own terms; the website’s deletion controls do not delete copies already received by them.

Contact and deletion requests

Contact the Europa Artilect organiser at admissao@europaartilect.com for questions about the project, your application or your data.

For a deletion request, identify the relevant forum account, application or public post. The organiser can remove project-held records and the application email in their mailbox. For a private website conversation, use “Forget this conversation” in the same browser session. Deletion does not retract public broadcasts or remove information held independently by another service.
